Hear hear! After an enforced absence from Tarboard for over a week due to a severed landline (do I hear cheers?), I can only belatedly agree that the career and self-experimentation of Roger Altounyan was heroic. It made the recent squabble here about whether Roger or Titty should have been sent the pigeon seem utterly trivial and irrelevant. The real life Roger was brave, and if that wasn't the true 'Swallows' spirit, what is? He deserved all the pigeons he could get.
