I feel a bit guilty about this as the idea of this board isn't to go seeking out free advertising, but it honestly crossed my mind that some of you may be interested. The new CD of my band, The Hall Brothers, (the CD is called 'Time and Tragedy') features a song of my 'North Star' which is all about AR and, furthermore, has a lovely photo on the front cover of a wherry at sunset somewhere between Wroxham and Horning (taken about 15 years ago or more). The link I've hopefully popped at the end will take you to our webpage so you can look at the photo there if you like!
There's also our own imitation of the Tarboard there where you'd be able to get a reasonably independent (well - more independent than asking me anyway!) opinion as to whether the CD is worth splashing out a tenner for! It's all acoustic, singer-songwritery stuff played by a TAR and a TAR's big brother (who's a big AR fan as well) so is probably worth a mention for that alone. But anyway, it was the song 'North Star' I was really wanting to tell you about - we've been playing it in concert for a year or so but this is the first time there's a been a recorded version available; it's derived from the author's note from the SA books about finding the North Star and picturing the skyline of lakeland hills. I think it's a song TARS would generally approve of!

Anyway, hope you excuse the advertising!

Duncan
