In SD they are on the summit of Kanchenchunga on August 11th 1931, which was a Tuesday.
This is the only date I can recall in the books; in SA the Treaty of Alliance (or is it Offence & Defence?) between the Swallows and Amazons is put at two years earlier (August 1929) but the date is not given.
