I've just come across this thread, and can offer a list of additional breweries to make a complete list for the Beer Engine. Many of the following are very small and their beers hard to find (but well worth the effort!), but most will have their own websites which can be found easily with a good search engine. Here goes...

Lake District area:

Great Gable Brewery, Wasdale Head Inn, Wasdale Head;
Foxfield Brewery, Prince of Wales Hotel, Foxfield (highly recommended);
Barngates Brewery, Drunken Duck Inn, Barngates;
Strawberry Bank Brewery, Masons Arms, Cartmel Fell (brews damson beer!);
Derwent Brewery, Silloth;
Hesket Newmarket Brewery, Old Crown, Hesket Newmarket (regular beers include the wonderfully titled 'Doris's 90th Birthday Ale');
Tirril Brewery, Queen's Head, Tirril;
also I'm told a new brewery is starting up soon in the Hawkshead area.

Norfolk and Suffolk - complete list:

(Norfolk)
Wolf Brewery, Attleborough;
Buffy's Brewery, Tivetshall St. Mary (these two highly recommended);
Blanchfield's Brewery, The Bull, Fakenham;
Humpty Dumpty Brewery(!), Railway Tavern, Reedham;
Captain Grumpy's Beer Company, Ship Inn, Brandon Creek;
Tindall Ales, Thwaite (near Bungay/Seething);
Winter's Brewery, Norwich;
Reepham Brewery, Reepham;
Woodforde's Brewery, Woodbastwick;
Iceni Brewery, Ickburgh;
Chalk Hill Brewery, Norwich;
Alewife Brewery, Harleston;
Blue Moon Brewery, Cock Inn, Barford;
plus (hopefully brewing soon) The Queen's Head, Earsham.

(Suffolk)
Adnams Brewery, Southwold (quite common everywhere);
Greene King, Bury St. Edmunds (very widespread);
Tolly Cobbold, Ipswich (quite common);
Nethergate Brewery, Clare;
Mauldon's, Sudbury;
Bartram's Brewery, Thurston;
Old Cannon, Bury St. Edmunds;
Oulton Brewery (formerly 'Green Jack'), Oulton Broad;
St. Peter's, St. Peter South Elmham;
Lidstone's Brewery, Wickhambrook;
Earl Soham Brewery;
Old Chimneys Brewery, Market Weston;
Green Dragon, Bungay;
King's Head, Bildeston;
also, a small one called Cox & Holbrook which is not brewing at present.

I hope, especially for overseas readers, this list helps to quench a few thirsts.

Regards,

Alex
