I think most of us would agree with that. I doubt whether any of the 'specialist' writers on Ransome would have come out with the sort of over-simplistic analysis of Titty cited by Chobi. It sounds like something a reviewer might have said - someone who has not read all the books, and therefore has not come across Dorothea, for instance.
