I don't have the most recent figures to hand (or even to foot-and-mouth) and I'm too lazy to go hunt for them, but on average 1990-1992 New Zealand had 4.8% of the world's sheep; the UK had 2.5%. If the sheep ever get the vote, Prue, you're in trouble. (Australia, with 13.8%, had the largest share of any one country).
