Assuming I can safely say something without getting jumped on again, it should be noted that an editorial in The Times (London -- electronic edition) today (August 29) had the above title. It was concerned with the recent spate of rescues at sea and, after typically overviewing Britain's seagoing heritage, ends by quoting Capt Walker's famous telegram about duffers and drowning from S&A.
Brits have long maintained that publication in The Times is the ultimate accolade so all TARS should celebrate.
