In Austria, and I think Germany too, they have rubber stamps at the top of mountains. You can get a card listing summits in the region from the local information office, and stamp each one when you get to the top. When you have climbed enough, you hand in your card at the office, and can get a certificate and badge.
It's a good way of enthusing children to go for healthy walks.
