Ah, thanks Mike, that's what I was after - 'a little wooden hut'. Ie weather protection - and sited, presumably, a little below the summit on the leeside. Nevertheless, I fear that in the UK such a wooden hut would be used for the purpose for which little wooden huts are traditionally used . . .
