My longest day's drive was from a point west of Balladonia [W.A.] to Crystal Brook [S.A.] during which I drove through two towns, Ceduna and Port Augusta. It was certainly a relief to get to the South Australian border as from there on the road was sealed. The Western Australian government didn't care if the road was there or not, so it was suitably neglected. The total distance was 700 miles.
