Winter Holiday was absolutely loaded with surreptitious night-time trips. The Swallows and Peggy going to the Fram (counts as 2, since Roger & Titty snuck after the elders), the D's staying out late preparatory to over-nighting there, Nancy and the Holly Howe crew separately heading out to the North Pole after dark (Nancy responding to "proper Morse" lantern signals) to rescue the D's. Then there were the planned night-time astronomy trips.
