In addition to the review of Brian Hammett's Racundra's Third Cruise that I mentioned in another thread, the March issue of Practical Boat Owner also carries an article on Broads sailing, "In the wake of Arthur Ransome."

The article recounts a cruise made by the author and his brother in Teasel, actually the 28' charter yacht Lullaby belonging to Hunter's Yard at Ludham. (She dates from 1932, and is one of the Yard's two original sailing cruisers.)

The charterers traced the routes of some of the voyages made in Coot Club and The Big Six, and the article is accompanied by several good photographs, including a wonderful port beam view of Lullaby tacking on one of the rivers, and another of her traversing Potter Heigham bridge. In addition, there's an excellent photo of the Hunter's Yard boathouse, along with a potted history of Hunter's Yard itself.

Well worth reading if you get the chance.
