Captain Jim Walker has asked me to post the following message:
The Wessel Walker family is planning two sailing gatherings for this summer, one about June 27 or earlier in that week, probably in southeastern Michigan, and one about August 5 or later in that week, probably in southwestern Michigan. We want to invite TARS members to join us for a day of sailing, swimming, and chat. By meeting with the Picnic Cat Association we expect to have enough boats to accommodate would be sailors. We sail a Picnic Cat, which we see as a fiberglass version of Amazon.
Potential participants should get in touch with me so that I can shape the plans to suit them and let them know how the plans are developing.
