Tom, the number and shifting population of children doesn't matter much for most aspects of TARS membership. What it really does is define the journals you receive. Individuals get a set of adult or junior journals; families get both, but sent to a single address.
The only difficulty could arise if you wanted to bring some of the children to TARS events. I would certainly hope you would, but you might need to come to some sort of agreement about numbers. I would be very happy to take this up with the Board if you intend to join. Incidentally, if you join now, you get all the 2002 journals. If you wait till October, you get 15 months' membership for one subscription, but only Mixed Moss and one Outlaw, which come out towards the end of the year.
