Nancy Blackett left her Woolverstone mooring shortly after midday on Wednesday 1 October and sailed for Southwold. The weather conditions were perfect with a stiff north-westerly rushing her along "faster then her fastest".

She is now out of the water and settled on the hard at Harbour Marine Services, Southwold where the winter work will be carried through. I'll produce a more detailed report of her last passage of 1997 in the next few days. Should you wish to visit her while she is ashore please contact John Buckley at HMS on 01502 724721 to arrange.
