Regarding the concept of SWIGGING.

I had though it just meant "to pull hard".

The idea that one end is fastened, and the pulling
is done SIDEWAYS to expedite the PULL is not what
I was thinking - so thanks for adding that new level
of understanding.

So much of these unusual words can be somewhat
figured out simply from the context in which they
are used, but such analysis does not come up with the
fine point you added to swigging.

My swigging so far has been more on the order
of "take a swig of beer". Not quite the same idea.

Thanks for the added understanding.
