In chapter 19 of "Missee Lee", there is described a
trip on a Chinese Junk, piloted by Missee Lee herself.
Various landmarks are pointed out to them as they go
by. One of them is a river, which she identifies as
the "Silver River". This is a rather minor inconsistency,
as her dialect has many situations in which the "r" is
replaced by the "l", except in this one particular case.
Interesting to note that a few paragraphs lower, Missee
Lee refers to a river, but using the spelling to indicate
her dialect, she calls it a "liver". Got it right that
time. Wonder how she was able to pronounce "Silver River"
in a more correct fashion that one time...

And on a different topic, while I got you folks on the line,
I now have all 12 stories as ASCII TEXT files, suitable for
scanning for key words as needed. Phew...
