As author of the quiz crticised by Ed, I'm grateful for all feedback.
I've always assumed that 'bows' in SA meant crossbows because the only
illustration (in SD) was of a crossbow, and it is a crossbow that is
named in that book. Ed however makes a valid point, and I'll change
that question forthwith. Any further 'comments and criticism' would
be very welcome, as would be any questions & answers that he,
or any other TARBOARD regulars, would like to contribute. After
something of a hiatus, production of quiz items is now under way again:
I've recently added a Peter Duck quiz, and am now finishing off one on
Winter Holiday.
