What is the Dragon Festival in Missee Lee? It seems to have similarities with the Lion dancing at the Chinese New Year (usually late January), but those are definitely lions not dragons. Terence McManus referred to Tuen Ng in May/June. What is this and how does it have dragon connections? Or was Arthur Ransome getting festivals mixed up?
