Er, careful! It is not really the job of the Ransome Literary executors to propagate the work of AR. Their primary aim is to protect the works from unlawful or unsuitable reproduction, yet at the same time to maximise income. However, Peter R is quite right to point out that the Arthur Ransome Society can and should propagate AR - that is one of the aims for which it was founded. It is, for instance, putting sets of AR into schools (in the UK anyway) which seems to me to be a good way of encouraging AR-reading without badgering. Whether TARS could do more is a moot point, but I don't think this is suitable for Tarboard.
