"Stroppy" --wonderful! I'm guessing it means "scrappy", "fiesty", in the fashion of a fox terrier; perhaps taken from the action of stropping a knife in preparation of leaping into the fray. If so, it has found a place in my vocabulary. Would someone more familiar with the term please confirm?
