Legend has it that the last yacht chandler in London, Arthur Beale, which has stood at 194 Shaftesbury Avenue for over a century, is really there because of the theatrical rigging trade; its survival, when all the others have been flattened by the Internet, suggests that this may be true!

What of Roger's penny whistle, aboard the Goblin? Was this perhaps the cause of Jim Brading running into the bus in Felixstowe?
