I'd love to see your list if you decide to do it--I always find myself getting hungry & needing mugs of tea when I read the books! I am somewhat of a cook & love to experiment. IF you need someone to figure out recipes for foods, I'd be willing to give it a try.
We did make an attempt at a pemmican hot pot, but we think the S&A version of "pemmican" probably isn't any of the canned/dried meats we can find here in tins. If anyone has a better meat to try than Spam (ugh for flavor & it falls apart with any water at all) or chipped beef (too dry & too salty). let me know--I'd still like to figure that one out better.
We did figure that the version with salty, dry chipped beef would have been more acceptable if we were cold & hungry & out-of-doors!
