I assume you're referring to the 'mutiny' on the Gorch Fock by other cadets, following the death of a female cadet by falling from the rigging?

I agree that the whole concept of 'sail training' seems a bit anachronistic in this day and age. On the other hand, I also think cadets are still taught something useful about their profession in sail training ships.
