Thanks Alan. Exceptionally, I missed viewing that particular Antiques Road Show, although normally I'm an enthusiast.
From reading my Hardyment/Wardale, the AR letter seems absolutely typical of his replies on the subject. It was very nice to see a genuine one on screen. And as usual, the lady who brought it in was splendid value- the great joy of the Road Show, always...
