A final reminder about this. Swallow from the 1974 film has now been renovated, and she is ready to be sailed again. The official relaunch will take place at Coniston Boating Centre on Sunday 10th April at 12.00 by Sophie Neville who played Titty in the film. Swallow will be there for inspection from 11.00, and continue sailing into the afternoon. Everyone is welcome!
We hope to have things on site for you to do and look at including other wooden boats, but there's lots of things to do around Coniston as well, and we will have maps and information sheets available for this. I'm also hopeful we might match up some 'expeditions' to e.g. the Dog's Home or Swallowdale 1.
