Hi Folks - I had this email from the Windermere Steamboat Museum and thought it might be of interest.
Cheers

Windermere Steamboat Museum
Guided Tours & Volunteers
Following the success of the guided tours we ran at the Windermere Steamboat Museum last year, we have scheduled some further dates for this summer. We will be holding guided tours at the museum on Tuesday
10 May and Wednesday 22 June at 10am, where visitors will be able to see the collection, view progress on the conservation programme and hear about our plans for the future. Details for these tours can be
found on our website at www.steamboats.org.uk/guided-tours.
To enable us to continue and expand our programme of public access we are looking for volunteers to help us deliver our guided tours. This is a great way to get involved with the project and all Public Access
Volunteers will be given training on how to deliver the tours including information on the historic collection, background information to the project and the logistics of welcoming large numbers onto the site. The Volunteer Role Description outlines the responsibilities and activities associated with this
role. If you are interested in being involved with the Public Access Programme please contact Charlotte, cupton@lakelandartstrust.org.uk to discuss the role further.
