Yes, I'm aware of the Folbot (thank you for the reminder, though) but from the looks of the GN? illustration, AR had in mind something much more of a dinghy than a kayak --as do I. Any speculation on a specific boat he was using as a model, or whether he was just aiming for a very general phenotype to meet the needs of his characters?
