There's always been this grumbling complaint in Britain
about BBC material being available to 'non-license payers'.
So put advertisements on the non-restricted version of i-player.
With the demise of the BBC World Service in many parts of the
world what a wonderful advertisement for Britain, making BBC
productions available world-wide, could make!
...living in Basel, and they have managed to find a way of
(legally) accessing bbc material out there.
Usual method is to payfor the use of a UK proxy server, but I object
to paying a third party to access BBC services though I would not
mind making a reasonable monthly payment to the Beeb.
