I am sorry, but that is the style of the beast, they pick on one or two questions and highlight them in the headline and introductory blurb. However the whole is a general knowledge quiz, so questions have to cover a variety of topics. Even when there is a theme, it is usually something so general such a New or Yellow that almost any topic can be squeezed in with a tenuous link.
I find the Daily Quiz to be quite challenging and have only once managed to get 10/10 when someone else was asking the questions. I do get lower scores when they ask about British TV shows or 1990s pop songs!
