The English Professor I am travelling with has a good sense of humor, so even if it is bad - it will be good, is there not something in Ransome about "What might have been? Ed will know - he knows all.
Plus a bad day in London is better than the best day in Texas. I can assure you.
I once got to England - Gatwick and had 8 hours to wait. I went to the train station guy and said - how far north can I get and get back - he looked at me and said never been outside London - no idea, so I got a train to Norwich and made it back - lot of fun
Fun is what you make it. I met the C of E minister from Cromer - she said I could not make the North Sea - I was close.
The English Professor said Lake District is to far, lives in Bristol - which is ok because a lot of my family came from that region, Martock and Risca. Have to take a side trip to Italy and Netherlands.
hang on is not WDMTGS set in Amsterdam? Ed will know?
