Does anybody know of the origins and purpose of the conical brushwood structure on Swallow Island? It occcupies a spit on the beach opposite Flint Island. From a distance it looked like a wopping big bonfire but it turned out to be some kind of hut, a fit meeting place for the savage Eels.
I wish someone who knows the area well would give Secret Water a bit of the treatment that the lakes AR sites have recieved. ( Hint)
