It'a alright, Ed, even Ransome gets it wrong. Despite it being correct in the text of the Cape edition both the frontispiece map and the illustration on page 65 (Chapter 7) quite clearly read DOG'S Home. He's covered himself here by blaming it on Nancy, as the initials NB appear in the bottom right hand corner.
