There is a review of John Parker's book in the Winter/Spring volume of Conserving Lakeland, a publication of the Friends of the Lake District (an organisation I have encouraged TARS to join). It is very positive. The charts are at a scale of 1:10,000 (about 6 inches to the mile) "But this is more than just a set of charts. The text has a wealth of information and advice and the notes alongside the charts will inspire further enquiry and exploration".
