Being a young, somewhat educated member of Canadian/American society (pick one, I have experience in both) I throw terms about, which really do not have a good fit in the situation, and tend to overdramatize things. Now I think of it, fanatic is as apt a term as any to use in this situation. The definition of fanaticism (according to dictionary.reference.com) is thus:

n.
Excessive, irrational zeal.
Many of us seem to be fanatics here, but who cares, this is a great place to chew on issues such as arguing over the location of the necessary facilities in a nonexistant house.

PS, I think the head in the goblin is in the fo'c'sle, ahead of the bunks in the forecabin. there is no mention on what is in the stem of the ship, underneath the forehatch, other than sail storage, and the bunks in the forecabin (according to the drawing) do not extend into the sail storage.
I was more concerned about the latrine facilities in the camps, and the head on the wild cat.
