The reference to whistling shrimps reminds me of a song my grandmother
used to sing, called "A noise annoys an oyster". I remember only two
pairs of lines from it:
When the west wind whistles through the whiskers of a shrimp
The poor old oyster feels a trifle limp
and
Yes, a noise annoys an oyster
And a noisy noise annoys an oyster more.
A pretty stupid message to post, but at least there's a marine connection,
which might almost excuse it on an AR board.
