Ed, I still think you should add 'Thin Captains', the biscuits mentioned in Missee Lee. If Roger had just meant thin captain's biscuits, would AR have used capitals: 'Thin Captains'? Anyone know who made them? As 'Palmer' is mentioned below, what the hell, I'll guess Huntley & Palmer (a well-known UK biscuit maker).
And the Latin American matches were made by the 'Fiat Lux' Co, the 'Compannia Fiat Lux' which John thought was a bit like Latin, because it was, at least the Fiat Lux bit. The rest is, presumably, Portugese, if the matches were from Pernambuco. 'Seguranca' sounds Portugese to me. Spanish would be 'seguridad', I think.
