There is a piece in Hugh Brogan's biography of AR where he quotes someone who knew Evgenia in Petrograd as saying something like "We called her the big girl because she was a big girl." While that does not specifically refer to her height, she looks to have been large-boned and tall with it. Interesting to compare her height with AR's when photographed standing together - how tall was he ?
