There is a rare old debate going on about the S & A books on the BBC Archers website. Go to www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/archers then to 'Message Board' then to 'Current Story Lines' then to 'Swallows and Amazons'. Most postings are in favour, but you get the usual 'middle-class' accusation rubbish.
