I recall reading somewhere that "CITN" is meant to have been written before "GN?" and was abandoned because AR could not get the plot to gell and Evgenia was being even more critical than usual. The plot of "GN?" was laid out by Myles North for AR to "breathe life into" and that made it easier for AR to put flesh on the bones.
