Well I was careful not to say that "Victorian" had actually ended over there.

Most absurd example I saw was on a TV "blooper program" where the announcer explained a clip: "look, this woman's top has fallen down and she doesn't realize she is exposed" (And the reason I am explaining this is because we have superimposed a blue CGI rectangle over the area - but isn't it still funny?)

[me: "actually no, it's not still funny"]

Not that Yank blooper programs are ever even marginally funny (And why does Oz TV keep showing Yank blooper programs when we haven't seen Denis Norden for a decade?)
