My cousin is a departmental curator there and I live some 50 miles away. I lecture in Cambridge a couple of times a year, if that is any use. What are you after?

Incidentally, it is a quite exceptional museum, in terms of the range and quality of its collections.

As to the Hiscocks, I fear we have another case of "sisterhooks" - any Tarboard readers who sail know who they were (the doyens of British small yacht cruising, post-WW2) and anyone who does't sail could not care less! When they sailed Wanderer III around the world for the first time, this was an exceptional achievement - today, thanks in part to their pioneering, it is almost (but not quite) routine. They were, of course, friends of AR and fellow members of the Royal Cruising Club.
