Andrew:

This is the email I sent the museum enquiry line. I am trying to get a copy of the picture at a reasonable resolution for the Mixed Moss article I am struggling with.

Any help appreciated

We Australians do not know all famous English people. So I have not heard of the Hiscocks even though I sail a lot.

I am reading the Falcon in the Baltic - not as good a writing as AR or Childers.

I finished Riddle in the Sand - did he write anything else worth reading.

John

Dear Sir or Madam:

You have a picture of the building called Tent Lodge shown on Coniston Water with Tent Lodge, 1818
Watercolour and bodycolour on grey paper, faded 501 x 660 mm
Bequeathed by A W Fawkes K.C., 1942.
No.2477 on your webiste.

I am writing a Journal article on this building for a British Academic Journal. I was wondering if it would be possible to get a better quality Image of this painting for the Journal and also to obtain your permission to use the image just for the Journal article. I would acknowledge the source of the image in the standard academic manner.

Thank you

John Nichols
