If you can manage the Lakes in June I think you have a good chance of
having good weather (don't hold me to it !) and not too many people
around.Schools are not out till mid July ? I'm sure someone will give
you the correct date there.August is BAD not only because of the school
holidays but because it does tend to rain during the month wiich gives
the Lakes such a bad name. September can be lovely. Schools will be back
early in the month. Sorry you can't make it for the AGM.
