Dave Thewlis yesterday very kindly posted scans of three new S&A maps for viewing on the AR site linked to below.

Two of the three maps are new editions of the old black-and-white ones that appeared early last year, updated in the light of comments on an earlier thread from several people here, and also now coloured. And the third map is of Secret Water, just completed. (For the rationale for producing the maps, please read the Secret Water thread below, starting 21 November.)

Several people have written to me over past months, asking if and how they might obtain hard copies of the maps. In most cases I said that they were being updated, and promised to let you know when the new versions became available.

Regrettably however my computer was upgraded about three months ago, in the process of which all emails I had received to that time were lost.

So if you were one of the people who wanted a printed copy, and if you haven't already received an email from me to say that they're now available, then I'm afraid your enquiry was one of the ones that went missing. Therefore would you

PLEASE EMAIL ME AGAIN FOR UPDATED INFORMATION.

UK and other European readers might prefer to obtain their maps from the TARS Bookstall. A few copies are available immediately by mail if you're prepared to pay for postage, and Ted A. will have them on display in January at the Midland AGM, and then in April for the SW.

Mike
