Mike:

Your three tonner looks a bit like I would expect the Death and Glories to look like out of the water.

Just returned with my 9 year old from Oz. It was very hot this summer in Oz for my two weeks. We were driving around in an un-airconditioned car, which does not help at all.

We stayed at Lake Macquarie - salt water and probably a similar size to the English lakes. There was an old aluminuim row boat washed ashore and holed from a recent storm. It was near our house and Tex had pulled it up on the shore. I bogged the holes with car- filler and then taught my nine year old to row. She loved it.

I have now started to read her SA at night, she took a bit of effort to get through the first few pages and did not understand about Duffers at all. Anne and I bought her a little kitten about as big and perky as Sinbad. This cat, however unlike Sinbad, is all black with a dusting of white hair ends. The cat "Cuddles" likes to nurse on my beard.

I trust everyone had a merry christmas.
