I had (xeroxes) of all of the above (except for the Parker map) last time I looked for Dogs' Home, and failed -- I could find the parking lot, Forestry area and even the stream, and several trails - but didnt get within sight of the Home (I prob gave up too easily). I realize we need to preserve the privacy of the Home from non-AR fans but this is ridiculous.
Now I have the beautiful Parker map- (& take a complete Xerox set of the Southern lakes with me, but don't think this will add anything to the Dogs' Home problem), really helpful if you are taking a Windermere cruise. However there is lots of additional info. on the internet: e.g. I never knew there was (or is) a Wild Animal Park nr Bowness!
Someone shld put together a handy TARS Lakes guide with all this info (or at least Links), esp. places to stay, eat, swimming pools, where to park, bookshops, etc., and a reading list. Aside from our own Amazon pubs & TARS bookstall I just encountered http://www.grasmeregardens.com/shop/19/20/
