I have just come across this site and enjoying it thoroughly. Ref the apparent sailing anomalies about where the Swallows learned to sail, as an author myself of a series of books, I know just how tricky it is to keep track of everything the characters did before they even started the stories! It's bad enough trying to remember what they did in the books already written. Incidentally, I did put a few bits & pieces about AR on pages at http:www.wwwebguides.com some time ago, and received may favourable comments, especially from the Australian & Japanese branches. I was living at the time in the Lake Districty, had visited Wildcat Island several times (it's exactly like the pictures) and even one day had the great pleasure of meeting Titty (also exactly like the pictures). Keep up the good work, I shall visit these pages again - and again...
