Andrew - I congratulate you on finding what you did on www.go-east.gov too much jargon and bad menu design!. But if I have understood from the local press correctly the wind farms are to be off-shore (unless we are being deceived somewhere along the line). Aren't the references to Sandy Point and Stone Point only because they need it for planning applications etc. the actual wind farms will be out at sea; similar to the ones they have just started off Great Yarmouth?

As to whether it is a good thing or not, I'd rather live with those off-shore than between two nuclear power stations as we do now!
