Some time ago I posted on here about my plans for a Swallows and Amazons Bird Book, and I received quite a lot of helpful replies, etc. The project has been halted somewhat by craziness at work (Ofsted inspections and the like) but I can slowly start to get back into it again now. Shortly before I had to put it on hold, I got an email about various publishing options that I kept on intending to reply to and eventually it fell off the end of my inbox (and I can't recall the name of the kind Tarboarder in question). So any assistance/advice v. welcome about where and how I could publish my Swallows and Amazons Bird Book material (just to remind people, it is readable, non-technical writing about many of the birds referred to in the series along with quotations from AR, AR's ink sketches and beautiful water-colour sketches by my mother, with an extended intro about AR, birds, nature, etc. - I think it'll be a well-loved book if it ever becomes one). And, confusingly, I'd be quite keen to have assistance/advice I've already actually been sent (!) because I'm better equipped to make use of it now than I was then.

Hope you can help,

Duncan
